In 2023, Hip and Happy LLC was honored as a grant recipient of the Idaho Department of Correction's Trauma-Informed Pilot Program. Under Shontae Cone’s leadership, the initiative introduced a groundbreaking holistic wellness program designed specifically for correctional officers and employees across the state of Idaho.

This comprehensive program provided critical resources to support the mental and emotional well-being of employees working in high-stress environments. Key components included crisis counseling services, guided meditation sessions, yoga classes, and an online community platform to ensure ongoing access to holistic care.

Successfully implemented statewide, the program positively impacted hundreds of employees, reflecting Shontae's innovative approach to integrating traditional therapeutic methods with holistic wellness practices. This achievement underscores her dedication to fostering resilience and well-being in diverse professional settings.

Education and Career

Shontae’s career began in 2007 as an entry-level tech at a developmental disability agency, igniting her passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs. This pivotal experience inspired her pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which she completed in 2012.
